Join us for stories, songs, fingerplays and a social/playtime to follow, for children ages 0-2yrs and their caregivers. Registration is required. 

Join us for Color Our World Storytime! This fun program is geared to Preschoolers (2-5). We will read stories, sing songs, create a craft and do other fun activities related to the theme. Registration is required  

Join us for a storytime with local police officer from the Valparaiso Police Department! The event will include a 30-minute reading session with the children, followed by a 15-minute Q&A and craft activity.​

BUBBLES: Stop in for a quick story and a simple science experiment as a part of our summer reading program.

All ages are welcome.

Join us for a fun Chameleon Mosaic Art program where kids can create their own colorful chameleons using mosaic patterns!

Ages 7-14 are invited to learn about the Pop Art movement and decorate a tote bag using innovative Pop Art techniques. Registration is required and opens 6/12/25.

Get ready for an unforgettable day of bubbly fun and excitement at Bubblepalooza!

Join our kids' art program inspired by artist Thomas Dambo! Kids will create their own unique box troll sculptures to take home, just like Dambo’s amazing work. It’s a fun, hands-on project that sparks creativity and imagination!

Have you always wanted to learn how to knit but didn't know where to start?  Have you tried in the past but got stuck on something and had no where to get help?  Join us every other week for a beginner knitting program.

PCPLS partners with LLC K-9 Comfort Dog to present monthly comfort dog visits at the Library. Stop by the branch and visit with Caleb the Comfort Dog! No registration required 

Build Lego with us and we will put them on display! Just bring your creativity and smiles! Ages 5-12 

Relax and get creative with Zentangle and watercolor! Tweens and teens will learn simple Zentangle patterns and combine them with watercolor backgrounds to create unique, calming artwork. 

Join us in learning how to paint with watercolor in a relaxing, low pressure space.  

This month we'll be painting birds using wet on wet and wet on dry techniques.
