A beginner's level sewing class, for those with basic sewing machine skills. Receive step by step instructions as we sew a small candy corn pillow. Registration is required. This program is open to adults and teens ages 13 and up.

This month’s  A Likely Story book is BodyGuard: Recruit by Chris Bradford! The books are donated through the Kouts Lions Club and each family gets to keep a copy—registration is required.

Build, create, and explore the strange and unusual through hands-on activities!

All teens and tweens are welcome! Stop by the Portage Youth Services desk to grab a copy of "Rez Dogs" by Joseph Bruchac.

Join us for a special visit from the Valparaiso Fire Department! Learn what it's like to be a firefighter, enjoy a couple of stories, and get an up-close look at a fire truck (weather permitting).

Decorate a trick or treat bag using acrylic paint! Children 3-5 must have an adult present during the program.  

PCPLS partners with LLC K-9 Comfort Dog to present monthly comfort dog visits at the Library. Stop by the branch and visit with Caleb the Comfort Dog! No registration required.
