A fun-filled 30 min interactive session that uses rhymes, songs, musical instruments, books, and more to stimulate the learning process for babies and toddlers. Registration requested.  

Join us for stories, songs, fingerplays and a social/playtime to follow, for children ages 0-2yrs and their caregivers. Registration is required. 

Join us for story time! This fun program is geared to Preschoolers (2-5). We will read stories, sing songs, create a craft and do other fun activities related to the theme. Registration is required  

Attention Toddlers ages 2-4! Join us for a play group at the Library. We will have multiple stations of different toys for an open play experience! Registration is required.

Join our book club for grades 6th thru 8th! This month’s book is “Goldfish: A Novel” by Nat Luurtsema. Follow Tess as she drives into the world of competitive swimming while balancing school and friendships.

This week’s challenge is to build a Lego creation and see if it can stay balanced. How steady can your creation be? All supplies are included—registration is required.

PCPLS partners with LLC K-9 Comfort Dog to present monthly comfort dog visits at the Library. Stop by the branch and visit with Caleb the Comfort Dog! 

Join us in the Teen Corner of the Valparaiso Branch to discuss Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. LeGuin and make a craft to go along with the book!

Join us and create a colorful landscape, learning about different techniques to create the natural elements as we explore a new way of "painting" with yarn. For tweens and teens ages 10-17.

It's the Great Turkey Escape! The "turkeys" have flown the coop! Your challenge is to build a contraption to either catch them or release them before dinner! 

Ages 4 & up

Love plants? Love art? Combine the two with our Teen Plant Party. Decorate a pot and plant a baby plant to take home and grow. All Supplies Provided. 

Painting is easier than you think! Create your own unique work of art, on an 8"x10" canvas, in acrylic. This class is free - Just bring yourself and your creativity! Coffee provided. This class is intended for adults and teens.
